A Touch of Wood
                                                                      by Tony

After years of a work in the engineering profession, I began to look at and fall in love with the beauty of wood. Since the grace of a tree has always been available to everyone, my direction turned to the inside of the tree to reveal its inner beauty. Thus my efforts turned to an effort to marry the color and grain of the wood into original design concepts that would be pleasing to the eye. A Touch of Wood

A Touch of Wood            Some of the wood I use comes from raw cut limbs and logs, which I acquire, while other pieces are purchased from local sources.
Many of my custom orders from direct contact and referrals, as well as the internet. I exhibit at a few Art & Craft Shows, and last year I had the honor of participating in the Cooperstown Art Association (Cooperstown, New York ) exhibit entitled " The Art of Wood" for the month of September. It was Tenth Annual Fine Crafts Invitational Show as a Made in New York exhibition.

Samples of my work can be seen in this Slide Show.
I would be glad to work with you on any special requests.
